Video Library

The CDes Imaging Lab maintains a video library of college sponsored lectures and events. Lectures are available for viewing within the lab one week after filming but can not be checked out.

The Imaging Lab has limited space for storage and only keeps the past five years of tapes on hand in the lab, but has a full collection that dates back to the 1970's. The collection is divided into two parts:

• Recent tapes are in SVHS 1/2-inch format
• 1986 - 1979 tapes are in 3/4-inch format

A full catalogue of tapes is available for review within the Imaging Lab, but reservations may be necessary for viewing tapes that are in storage. The oldest tapes are in poor condition and require special arrangements to be made prior to viewing. Please speak with Imaging Lab staff if you are interested in viewing older tapes or videos that are not stored in the lab.
