The College of Design sponsors a variety of professional development and career networking activities for both undergraduate and graduate students. These events and activities give students an opportunity to make professional connections, explore career and internship options, and see theory in practice. The experiences support classroom learning and encourage students to take a proactive approach to designing their professional futures.

Graduate and Professional School Day

Great Hall, Coffman Memorial Union
More than 100 graduate and professional programs from throughout the country will be represented at the University of Minnesota's Graduate and Professional School Day. This free, University-wide event provides students the opportunity to speak with representatives from law, business, education, health sciences and a variety of other graduate and professional programs. The event will also feature helpful workshops on "How to Apply" and "Funding Graduate and Professional School."

Etiquette Dinner

Get the answers to these questions and more at the 2008 Etiquette Dinner. Join fellow U of M students and learn how to professionally handle any dining situation. A 3-course meal by D'Amico catering will give you the chance to try out these new skills immediately.
